On the morning of March 24, in the Xiangyang battery plant of Camel Group, the commencement ceremony of the the first phase of a 150MW distributed photovoltaic and 1GWh energy storage smart integrated energy project jointly developed by Camel Group and Three Gorges Power Energy Management (Hubei) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as: Three Gorges Power) was grandly held.
Liu Changlai, Chairman of Camel Group, Xie Jun, Member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of Yangtze Power, Chairman of Three Gorges Power, Sun Quan, Vice President of Camel Group, Zhang Jian, Head of Camel Energy Technology Co., Ltd., and Zhou Jing, Deputy General Manager of Three Gorges Power attended the groundbreaking ceremony.
This project is the largest user-side solar-storage smart integrated energy project in Central China so far, and it is also a demonstration green factory jointly built by Camel Group and Three Gorges Power.
In his speech, Liu Changlai expressed his expectation for Camel Group and Three Gorges Electric Power to jointly participate in the grand event, and hoped that the two parties would give full play to their respective advantages and carry out all-round cooperation.
Xie Jun said that we should use the Three Gorges standard that protects the great power, with lean quality, professional technology, and safety guarantee, to advance the project construction process in an orderly and efficient manner, and make the Camel project a benchmark and a model for the next step of both parties. It has laid the foundation for the cooperation and actively contributed to the "Three Gorges Program" for building a green and low-carbon industrial cluster.
After the ceremony, the two sides held discussions and exchanges. Camel Group introduced the national business layout, centralized photovoltaic resource reserves, photovoltaic and integrated energy projects, etc., and reached a comprehensive cooperation consensus with Three Gorges Power on the next cooperation areas and cooperation models.
"Three Gorges Power Camel Group 150MW Distributed Photovoltaic + 1GWh Energy Storage Smart Integrated Energy Phase I Project" is a 30MW photovoltaic and 50MWh energy storage project jointly built by Camel Group and Three Gorges Power. Reduce carbon emissions by 700,000 tons, reduce energy costs by 120 million yuan, and empower Camel Group to build a green, low-carbon, energy-saving enterprise.
